Annual Retreat for Creatives

Omorphia Annual Retreat

The creative person is called to bring others to the truth and goodness of Christ by helping them see the beauty in His creation and the world around them. It is good for the artist to step back to replenish their own selves through Christ before continuing to give by creating.

Our annual retreat is designed to invite the artist back into the restful arms of the Father through the Mass, engaging talks, time in front of the Blessed Sacrament, fellowship, and intentional time for creativity.

What is Intentional Creativity?

One of the core elements of Omorphia is rest in the Father through intentional creativity.   As artists and creatives, taking time to be be creative can be another form of prayer. Unfortunately, we don't always have the opportunity to orient our creative process in that manner.

The intentional time for creativity is built into our retreats to draw, paint, write, dance, make music, etc. for God alone.  To orient our time and process towards God and take the time to create for and with Him.

Don’t consider yourself an artist or Creative?

At Omorphia I believe every person is endowed with the Creative Spirit of God our creator and creator of the universe. It is up to YOU to tap into it and use your creativity how God is asking you to.

These annual retreats can be an opportunity to learn more about your own creative process and maybe try something you have never done before. Omorphia is a safe space for any person to experiment, try something new, and connect with like-minded friends.

“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.”
